Lieve liedjes met soul zoals <em>In Your Arms<\/em>. Vierkante popliedjes die van riff naar riff springen zoals <em>Let\u2019s Ask Anna<\/em>, compleet met bluesy mondharmonica. In eerdere recensies hadden we het vooral over pubrock, maar de bronnen van creativiteit stromen bij Mattei constant over. Niet zo gek dus <!--more-->dat tijdens de jazzy opener <em>Come Look At What I Found<\/em> de vergelijking zich opdringt met het werk van Howe Gelb. Het heldere geluid zorgt er ook voor dat te denken valt aan NRBQ. <em>The Third Party<\/em> wordt beheerst door steelgitaar, terwijl <em>Find Yourself Another Man<\/em> weer zo\u2019n vierkante beat heeft. Maurice Mattei wil ons laten geloven dat het schrijven van een liedje toch o zo simpel is, maar dan zorgt hij voor wat dissonanten en weet je wel beter.
