Op zijn derde plaat, <strong>Revelations Of A Mind Unraveling<\/strong>, springt de uit Texas afkomstige Durham in de put van menselijke emoties en het blijkt daar pikzwart te zijn. Rudimentaire blues en southern gothic gaan hand in hand met teksten die vooral over de duistere kant gaan. I\u2019ve been creeping in the shadows with the wretched, and I\u2019ve got to get away (<em>Creeper<\/em>). Het is hel en verdoemenis en het lijkt er op of Durham wel uit die put kan kruipen, maar telkens als zijn vingers over de rand heeft, terug<!--more--> in de diepte in getrokken wordt. Durham gromt en huilt en begeleidt zichzelf bij voorkeur op z\u2019n cigarbox gitaar. Het zwaardroge drumwerk is van Conrad Choucroun en Bukka Allen hoor je hier en daar op toetsen. Enig licht in de duisternis komt van Alissa Durham die in de achtergrondzang te horen is. Een optreden van Durham moet een sensatie zijn.
