Gitaren en een beukende ritmesectie serveren een heerlijk potje cowpunk. Al veel vaker gehoord, maar dat maakt niet uit. Want je kunt net zo goed zeggen dat je het niet vaak genoeg hoort. Bijzonder fijn is bijvoorbeeld <em>Whole Lotta Folsom<\/em>, een mengseltje van Led Zeppelin en Johnny Cash. De Amerikanen doen naast cowpunk ook in pubrock van het hardere soort. En een accordeon hoort <!--more-->er gewoon bij op <em>Talkin\u2019 Messianic Paranoid Agitpop Blues<\/em>. Bluesy zijn ze vooral op <em>God &amp; The Devil<\/em>, terwijl <em>Real Nice Time<\/em> het meest wegheeft van Long Ryders.
