Die nieuwe liedjes klinken alsof ze uit de beginjaren van de rock-\u2019n-roll afkomstig zijn. Sterker nog, bijna constant hoor je stukjes uit oude nummers. In <em>Hey Skinny Santa<\/em> hoor je wat van <em>Hey Good Lookin\u2019<\/em> van Hank Williams. En het titelnummer heeft wat van <em>Heartbreak Hotel<\/em> van Elvis Presley. Over het vorig jaar verschenen <em>Undivided Heart &amp; Soul<\/em> van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jdmcpherson.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JD McPherson<\/a> schreven we dat al die nummers goed, beter en best waren. Dat valt <!--more-->hier niet vol te houden. Deze collectie kerstliedjes is een tussendoortje zonder soul.
