Dat lukt uitstekend met <strong>Wrong Again<\/strong> (Finstock Music) van <a href=\"https:\/\/agsconnolly.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ags Connolly<\/a>. Deze singer-songwriter uit Oxfordshire tovert namelijk doorgaans elke pub in het Verenigd Koninkrijk om in een honky tonk, ware het niet dat ook daar alles waarschijnlijk het hele jaar nog gesloten blijft. Honky tonk shuffles, drinking songs and barroom ballads, daarbij is het ook thuis heerlijk treuren. Connolly besluit met <em>Sad Songs Forever<\/em> en met <!--more-->de tien liedjes op dit album als onderbouwing kunnen we hem niet anders dan helemaal gelijk geven. Hij nam het album op met musici uit Londen, de naar Nashville getrokken Brit Eamon McLoughlin (fiddle) en de Amerikaanse accordeonist Michael Guerra (Mavericks). Gevoelsmatig verblijven we ondertussen in een cantina in het grensgebied van Texas en Mexico.
