Direct op de zydeco van <em>Nobody Gotta Know<\/em> is goed te horen dat hij het avontuur is aangegaan in een nieuwe omgeving. Op <em>Jamie Rae<\/em> trekt hij over een modderige weg met accordeon, viool en slidegitaar in zijn spoor. Klinkt als John Hiatt op de cajuntoer. <em>Chosen Road<\/em> heeft de sfeer van het werk van Bo Ramsey. Op nummers als <em>Prisoner<\/em> en <em>Because He Told Me So<\/em> blijkt wederom zijn maatschappelijke betrokkenheid. Op<!--more--> <em>Cary\u2019s Groove<\/em> trekt de zware beat van de drummer weer helemaal naar zydeco. <em>Bare Trees<\/em> is een instrumental met de accordeon van Cory Ledet en viool van Beau Thomas. Afsluiter <em>Come The Rain<\/em> is wat meer algemene bluesrock. De hoes is wel heel simpel.
