Ook Joe Pernice waagt zich op <strong>It Feels So Good When I Stop<\/strong> (Ashmont Records\/Bertus Distributie) aan liedjes van onder meer Del Shannon (I Go To Pieces), James en Bobby Purify (I&#8217;m Your Puppet) en Todd Rungren (Hello It&#8217;s Me), maar meer avontuurlijk en minder voor de hand liggend ook aan songs van Sebadoh (Soul And Fire), Plush (Found A Little Baby), The Dream Syndicate (Tell Me When It&#8217;s Over) en <!--more-->The Young Accuser (Black Smoke (No Pope)). Deze laatste is bijzonder interessant omdat deze band een fictieve is die figureert in Joe Pernice&#8217;s romandebuut getiteld, jawel, It Feels So Good When I Stop. Een mooie vondst, dit spel met de verbeelding.
