Geen idee of ze in de toekomst nog meer muziek gaan maken onder die naam. Als het bij dit ene album blijft, dan is het in ieder geval <strong>The Very Best Of Fantastic Cat<\/strong> (Blue Rose\/Proper\/Bertus). Dat blijft ook zo, zelfs als er later nog betere albums verschijnen. Don DiLego, Anthony D\u2019Amato en Brian Dunne brachten eerder soloplaten uit en Mike Montali kun je ook horen als zanger in Hollis Brown. Afwisseling verzekerd natuurlijk met zo\u2019n bezetting. <em>C\u2019Mon Armageddon<\/em> klinkt als Bob Dylan, of misschien nog wel meer als Jerry Leger. <em>New Year\u2019s Day<\/em> begint <!--more-->als iets van Rod Stewart, terwijl de zang van <em>Nobody\u2019s Coming To Get You<\/em> terugvoert naar de tijden van Smokie. Dat laatste gaat ook op voor <em>The Gig<\/em>. <em>Wild &amp; Free<\/em> is lichte powerpop met hoge zang. <em>Fiona<\/em> is pure pop als The Babys, waarna de voldragen pop van <em>Amigo<\/em> de Australische Badloves in herinnering roept. <em>Ain\u2019t This The Stangest Town<\/em> is pure singer-songwriter met akoestische gitaar. Op <em>Lakewood<\/em> luisteren de bandleden zelf naar een liedje van een hele tijd geleden op de radio. Afsluiter <em>Theme From Fantastic Cat<\/em> is slepende countrysoul, een nummer om een concert mee af te sluiten. Nog een naam noemen dan? Goed, dat laatste nummer heeft ook wat van Promised Land Sound.
