Het <\/span><strong><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW12933980 BCX8\">ongetitelde<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW12933980 BCX8\"> werk (eigen beheer), met daarop 8 songs, laat de twee horen als zangers, gitaristen, toetsenisten, bassisten en <\/span><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW12933980 BCX8\">Kohll<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW12933980 BCX8\"> speelt ook nog drums. Veel DIY dus, maar het tweetal laat zich ook nog bijstaan door onder meer een <\/span><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW12933980 BCX8\">pedal<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW12933980 BCX8\"> steel-speler en door Ben Cook, die u misschien kent als Young <\/span><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW12933980 BCX8\">Guv<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW12933980 BCX8\"> en die het album ook produceerde. Wat je hoort is een intrigerende mengeling van <\/span><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW12933980 BCX8\">cosmic<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW12933980 BCX8\"> americana en <\/span><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW12933980 BCX8\">mellow<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW12933980 BCX8\"> psychedelische rock, waarin<!--more--> de geest van Jerry <\/span><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW12933980 BCX8\">Garcia<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW12933980 BCX8\"> en JJ <\/span><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW12933980 BCX8\">Cale<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW12933980 BCX8\"> rondwaart, terwijl de Allm<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW12933980 BCX8\" lang=\"NL-NL\" xml:lang=\"NL-NL\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW12933980 BCX8\">an Brothers om het hoekje meekijken. Die <\/span><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW12933980 BCX8\">laidback<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW12933980 BCX8\"> sound wordt mede veroorzaakt door de weinig nadrukkelijke manier van zingen van het tweetal. Het ontstijgt op sommige nummer net het fluisteren. <\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW12933980 BCX8\" data-ccp-props=\"{}\">Op het slotnummer, <em>Blizzed Out<\/em>, laten ze echter alle beperkingen achter zich en gaat het lekker los.
