Wellicht waren mijn verwachtingen te hoog gestemd. Want ga maar na, rockchick Collins heeft door haar echtelijke verbintenis met Jason &amp; The Scorchers-bassist Al Collins toegang gekregen tot de muzikale fine fleur van alternatief Nashville. Dan Baird produceert en speelt gitaar, Warner E. Hodges hanteert de twanggitaar, husband Collins heeft de bas omgegord en Tommy Womack draagt compositorisch bij. Dit op zich bijzonder interessante affiche <!--more-->blijft naar mijn bescheiden mening echter steken in vrijblijvendheid. De gitaren scheuren nergens echt hard en diep, terwijl Stacie zelf nauwelijks aan emotioneel contact, soul of gevaar doet \u2013 wellicht met uitzondering van de gave bluesstomper Cool.
