Vooral in het Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View, Arkansas. Setser stond al eens op het podium met de legendarische Grandpa Jones. Ze speelden allebei bluegrass in een band die voornamelijk bestond uit familieleden. Pas sinds 2017 vormen ze het duo <a href=\"https:\/\/pamsetser.com\/apple-setser\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Apple &amp; Setser<\/a>. Het merendeel van het materiaal op <strong>Apple &amp; Setser<\/strong> (Bell Buckle Records) bestaat uit bewerkte liedjes uit het publieke domein. Maar toch weet zo\u2019n traditional als <em>Hand Me Down My Walking Cane<\/em> je toch mee te slepen. Mooie samenzang, niet te lief, gewoon puur. En fraaie <!--more-->bijdragen van Tim Crouch op zowel banjo als viool. <em>A Friend You\u2019d Never Met<\/em> is een vrij rustig liedje van Apple waarop zijn mandoline de boventoon voert. Pam Setser schreef <em>Too Far Gone<\/em>, een liedje met piano.
