Er klinkt nauwelijks wanhoop in door. \u2018I realize truth is in between the words and the dreams\u2019, zingt ze op <em>In Between<\/em>. De singer-songwriter uit Austin, Texas, gaat moedig voorwaarts in haar folkliedjes. \u2018I won\u2019t hide deep in the sand \/ I\u2019ll speak the truth and ride on the wind\u2019, laat ze weten op <em>Golden Treasure<\/em>. Het album kwam tot stand in de Blue Rock Artist Ranch &amp; Studio in Wimberley waar zang, cello, gitaar en <!--more-->bas werden opgenomen, waarna in Austin nog het een en ander werd toegevoegd. Het zijn kleingehouden liedjes waarin toch een spannende sfeer wordt gecre\u00eberd zoals het geval is op <em>I Am A Skylark<\/em>.
