En het is ook weer een helemaal prima album geworden, dat in<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\"> het verlengde ligt van het debuut. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">Acht nummers ditmaal, met een totale speelduur van ruim 35 minuten. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW230658210 BCX8\">Goldstein<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\"> en de zijnen<!--more--> (Micah Hulscher \u2013<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">toetsen, Anna <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW230658210 BCX8\">R<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW230658210 BCX8\">u<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW230658210 BCX8\">ddick<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\"> \u2013<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">bas, en Glenn <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW230658210 BCX8\">Milchem<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\"> \u2013<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">drums)<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">, namen het album in 10 dagen op, onder leiding<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">van producer John <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW230658210 BCX8\">Agnello<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">. Niet <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">veel tijd<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\"> dus<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">; het is <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">mede daardoor misschien <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">een ruwe<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">maar ook<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\"> onweerstaanbare<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\"> mengeling geworden van rock-&#8216;n-<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW230658210 BCX8\">roll<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\"> en countryrock<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">, met hier en daar nog wat toegevoegde blazers en achtergrondkoortjes.<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW230658210 BCX8\">Goldstein<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\"> mag als zanger misschien niet uitblinken, maar het is goed genoeg. En de pakkende melodie\u00ebn compenseren dat in ruime mate<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">; foodtapping van de eerste tot de laatste noot, heerlijk. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW230658210 BCX8\">Grappig<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\"> genoeg schreef iemand in <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">een reactie <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">onder de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altcountry.nl\/blog\/2019\/07\/espanola\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recensie<\/a> van het eerste album dat ze wel uitgenodigd mochten worden voor <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW230658210 BCX8\">TakeRoot<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW230658210 BCX8\">.
