Hij omschrijft zichzelf als een \u2018cattle camp crooner and balladeer\u2019 en ook wel als <strong>The Singing Stockman<\/strong> (eigen beheer). Hij schreef zes van de tien liedjes en zet het onmiddellijk op een jodelen op <em>All You Need To Do<\/em>. Wat klinkt de steelgitaar er heerlijk ouderwets, bijna alsof je teruggaat naar de hoogtijdagen van Hank Williams. Maar een vergelijking met Colter Wall is meer op zijn plaats. Fans van Theo Lawrence moeten dit trouwens ook maar eens beluisteren. De cowboyliedjes van Alexander wijken <!--more-->niet al teveel af van de traditie. De nog jonge artiest heeft een heldere stem, waarmee hij verhalen afsteekt over slapen onder de western sky met een brave hond aan zijn zijde op <em>Tattered Swag Ramble (Jack\u2019s Song)<\/em>. En op <em>I Don\u2019t Wish To Be Lonesome<\/em> volgt hij hoog in het zadel gezeten het bleke schijnsel van de maan tijdens zijn tocht over de stoffige vlaktes. Alexander (zang en gitaar) produceerde het album samen met Patrick Wilson (bas en drums) van wie we <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altcountry.nl\/blog\/2024\/03\/patrick-wilson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hier onlangs <em>It\u2019ll Be Alright<\/em> bespraken<\/a>. Tommy Brooks doet fraaie dingen op mandoline, elektrische gitaar en lap steel.
