Daarop verkent hij americana in al zijn rijkdom. Een bluesalbum is het dan ook niet, ook al zou <em>Hangin\u2019 Tree<\/em> wel als blues kunnen worden omschreven. Cicala komt uit de Amerikaanse staat Maryland en schrijft verhalende nummers. Op opener <em>One Horse Town (Mother\u2019s Day)<\/em> zou je zweren dat je luistert naar Warren Zevon. Hij is dus gezegend met een fraaie stem, die op andere momenten ook neigt naar Jackson Browne en Mark Germino. Op <em>Baby Come Back<\/em> klinkt <!--more-->niet alleen een accordeon, maar ook een steeldrum. Te situeren in zowel Mexico als de Cariben derhalve. <em>Angry Heart<\/em> rockt als Leroi Brothers of Ted (Roddy) and The Tall Tops. Een snufje Texas dus middels cajun en honky tonk. <em>Just To Walk That Little Girl Home<\/em> is een compositie van Willy DeVille en Doc Pomus die een prachtige uitvoering krijgt. De overige negen liedjes zijn allemaal van Cicala zelf. Hij verzorgde ook de productie zelf, samen met Steve Carr, die op \u00e9\u00e9n nummer bas speelt.
