De singer-songwriter schrijft liedjes waarin hij niet al te moeilijk wil doen. \u2018Er zijn al genoeg navelstaarders die zoeken naar zelfbevestiging in folkmuziek\u2019, meent hij. Dus zingt hij op <em>Molly Bloom<\/em> met de tong in de wang over een vrouw in Dublin die het niet zo nauw neemt met de zeden.\u00a0Op de voorkant van de hoes van <strong>Wild Flora<\/strong> (eigen beheer) staat een jonge vrouw, op de achterkant staat Bart Moore in een vergelijkbare pose op het zelfde stukje land, maar dan zijn<!--more--> de bladen van de bomen verdwenen en is de groene bloemenzee geel en dor geworden.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>In <em>Heavenly Daze<\/em> moet een gordiaanse knoop worden ontward met wat percussie en een beetje flamencogitaar. Van de kleurrijke folk van Moore steek je nog wat op. <em>God Is Just Plain Lazy<\/em> verkondigt hij. \u2018God is just plain lazy, but He\u2019s got a groovy gig \/ He sleeps with Cleopatra and the young Diana Rigg \u2026 God is just plain weird \/ He\u2019s so high above my station \/ He\u2019s got the Pogues &amp; Billy Strings in regular rotation.\u2019 <em>Tuesday Afternoon At Wrigley Field<\/em> is een liedje over honkbal met prachtig vioolspel van Grant Flick.
