Het gaat een beetje als oude rock-\u2019n-roll. Iets van Bo Diddley of zo. Maar <em>Massachusetts<\/em> begint daarna eerder als Dylan. Israel heeft een krakende stem en de viool van <!--more-->Nancy Jephcote krast en kraakt al net zo erg. Of nee, erg is niet het juiste woord, het klinkt juist prettig eigenlijk. Die viool van Jephcote speelt een prominente rol in de sound van de Tristan Israel Band. Daar in de natuur van Snake Hollow hoeft niets te worden opgepoetst. Israel (zang, akoestische gitaar) is er graag. Als hij reist verlangt hij al snel weer naar thuis. Producer Paul Thurlow zorgt op bas, toetsen, elektrische gitaar en percussie voor verdere aankleding.
