De zang van <a href=\"https:\/\/nikkioneill.com\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nikki O\u2019Neill<\/a> is niet altijd loepzuiver, een beetje hard in het hoog soms, maar dat is helemaal niet bezwaarlijk. Want h\u00e9, deze singer-songwriter heeft soul! En haar nummers hebben dat ook. De arrangementen ontstonden nadat O\u2019Neill de ruwe contouren van de liedjes had laten horen aan de bandleden (bas, drums, gitaar, toetsen). Af en toe breekt een gitaar uit de puntige akkoorden voor een felle solo. O&#8217;Neill vestigt even alle aandacht op haar spetterende spel op <em>Square One<\/em>. Ze\u00a0<!--more-->komt uit Los Angeles, maar woonde lang in Stockholm, totdat ze terugkeerde naar haar geboorteland.
