Twee jaar geleden besprake<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">n we hier hun debuut. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">De net verschenen opvolger daarvan heet <\/span><strong><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW136587072 BCX8\">Burning<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW136587072 BCX8\">Desire <\/span><\/strong><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW136587072 BCX8\">(eigen beheer)<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">. De plaat is een stuk evenwichti<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">g<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">er dan de e<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">ersteling.<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\"> Het zijn wederom zanger-gitarist Edwin Jongedijk en drummer Jaap Vissering die de <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">10 <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">nummers schr<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">even<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">.<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">Melodieuze <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW136587072 BCX8\">heartlandrock<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\"> is een goede omschrijving van de muziek van deze band. Mooie grofkorrelige stem van Jongedijk<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\"> en <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">fijne<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\"> toevoegingen van <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">Marcel Gerritsen <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">op<!--more--> <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW136587072 BCX8\">pedal<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\"> steel en <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">Johan <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW136587072 BCX8\">Zielstra<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\"> op <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW136587072 BCX8\">hammond<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\"> en piano. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">De nummers liggen makkelijk in het oor, maar de meeste hebben vaak net wel iets extra&#8217;s: een mooie gitaarsolo, een tempowisseling of ineens een<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">\u00a0tweede stem. Er valt dus wat te genieten. Het enige wat ontbreekt is dat de mannen ook wel <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">e<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">ens lekker <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">uit de boc<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">h<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136587072 BCX8\">t vliegen. Het is allemaal wel binnen de lijntjes gekleurd.
