Het collectief werkt vaak samen met andere artiesten en op <strong>Audience With The Queen<\/strong> (Tchoup-Zilla Records\/Thirty Tigers) is dat Irma Thomas. De soulkoningin van New Orleans begon haar muzikale loopbaan al in de jaren 50. Vooral haar werk met producer en songschrijver Allen Toussaint uit de jaren 60 is legendarisch. De eigentijdse aanpak van Galactic \u2013 in het verleden stoeide de band ook met hiphop \u2013 biedt Thomas de kans om <!--more-->te bewijzen dat ze er nog steeds toe doet. Daar wordt ze zelf ook gelukkig van en dat is dus ook het eerste wat ze te melden heeft op dit album: <em>How Glad I Am<\/em>. Helemaal funky is <em>Where I Belong<\/em>. Ook al zingt de inmiddels 84-jarige Thomas dat ze een <em>Puppet On Your String<\/em> is, op deze plaat maakt ze duidelijk dat ze de touwtjes nog stevig in handen heeft.
