Luister naar <strong>Sometimes By Surprise<\/strong> (Blackbird Record Label). Pop, rock, blues, soul, country en alle denkbare combinaties daarvan. Je zou hem ook het Wilhelmus kunnen laten zingen, of <em>Bu\u03b2 und Reu<\/em>. En het mooie is dat \u2013 ondanks die staalkaart aan stijlen en tradities \u2013 <em>Sometimes By Suprise<\/em> t\u00f3ch een coherent geheel is, en dat dertien nummers en bijna een uur lang. Mike Miz doet zo\u2019n tweehonderd shows per jaar, waaronder als support act voor niet de minsten: Jason Isbell, Lukas Nelson, America (jazeker!), The Felice <!--more-->Brothers, Chris Izaak en ga maar door. Naast een begenadigd zanger is Miz ook een prima gitarist (zie de video, klik <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/-7Nwf6AUWKA\" target=\"_blank\">hier <\/a>voor de albumversie). Ook als songschrijver is Mike Miz een aangename verrassing (excuus voor de t\u00e9 gemakkelijke verwijzing naar de albumtitel).
