Dat maakt de Amerikaan helemaal waar op <strong>Hope Is Hard To Kill<\/strong> (eigen beheer). Elke dag moet Arbor vechten om de hoop levend te houden, zo laat hij weten op het titelnummer. \u2018I was born in the shadow of the atom bomb, I marched against the war in Vietnam \/ Weapons of deception killed us in Iraq, you take one step forward and ten steps back\u2019, en daarmee maakt hij duidelijk welke positie hij inneemt in deze polariserende tijden. \u2018Have you heard the glaciers crashing into the sea? \/ Have you seen the waters<!--more--> rise where a beach used to be? \/ There\u2019s a whole lot of people with their head in the sand \/ Trying to hide from what they can\u2019t understand.\u2019 De muzikale invulling mag aan de zoete kant zijn op dit album, zo af en toe worden de woorden toch wel degelijk krachtig ondersteund door bijvoorbeeld stevig gitaarwerk op het titelnummer. Arbor (zang, akoestische gitaar) heeft als een van zijn begeleiders Stef Burns in de gelederen, die sinds 2001 gitaar speelt in Huey Lewis &amp; The News. Met de poprock van die band is de sound van Arbor wel enigszins te vergelijken. Op een nummer als <em>Paradise Is Burning<\/em> valt ook te denken aan zowel Doug Ashdown als de sound van de jaren 60. <em>Age Of Information<\/em> is echter eerder punky of in ieder geval powerpop, een beetje jaren 80. Het sympathieke <em>Everyone Comes From Somewhere<\/em> wordt van de juiste sfeer voorzien door viool.
