Je kunt slechtere voorbeelden bedenken. <strong>High Top Van<\/strong> (eigen beheer) opent met dat nummer dat een solo van saxofoon meekrijgt. Het album werd opgenomen in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, en bevat voor het merendeel tamelijk stevige alt-country, maar er staan ook enkele nummers op die gericht lijken op een poppubliek. De dunne sound van <em>Dance With You<\/em> is bijna disco, vooral door de inbreng van producer Ian Olvera op synthesizer. Daar staan dan rockers als <em>Ballin\u2019 The Jack<\/em> en<!--more--> <em>If Daddy\u2019s Gonna Drink, Mama\u2019s Gonna Dance<\/em> tegenover. De rootsrock heeft de overhand, maar van de tien liedjes zijn er toch drie waarbij de <em>High Top Van<\/em> een andere richting inslaat.
