Dus kunnen de lieden die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/oldladyofficial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Old Lady<\/a> vormen lekker doen wat ze zelf bevalt. \u2018I don\u2019t make any money, but I have a good time\u2019, klinkt het op <em>Good Money, Good Time<\/em>, te vinden op <strong>Tears Around Last Call<\/strong> (Nudie Records). De vier mannen en \u00e9\u00e9n vrouw houden van wrakke country met een beetje rockabilly en blues. <em>Charlie\u2019s Concrete Truck<\/em> gaat qua sfeer <em>Into The Purple Valley<\/em> van Ry Cooder. Op <em>Swamp Blood Bird<\/em> brengen ze een bezoekje aan een begraafplaats, de donkere rockabilly gaat hier <!--more-->bijna richting Alan Vega. <em>Inconsistent Lovers<\/em> is weer wat zoeter; bijna soul. Met kleine drankoogjes bewegen ze zich twaalf liedjes lang naar de uitgang, omdat de laatste ronde onverbiddelijk het einde inluidt van het vertier. <em>Coolest Man In Princeton<\/em> klinkt inderdaad lekker cool en vooral ook heel ruimtelijk met die baritongitaar en piano.
