Het beste wat ze kon overkomen, zo zingen ze op <em>Glastonbury<\/em>. Het is het tweede nummer op <strong>The Fugitives<\/strong> (Rhea Records), het titelloze achtste album van de band. De vorige albums werden in Canada allemaal genomineerd voor een Juno of Canadian Folk Music Award en deze nieuwe zal ook wel weer meedingen naar die onderscheidingen. De vierstemmige zang van Adrian Glynn, Brendan McLeod, Carly Frey en Christopher Suen biedt volop variatie en dat wordt nog eens versterkt door het instrumentarium van <!--more-->gitaren, bas, balalaika, mondharmonica, banjo en viool. Vooral die laatste twee instrumenten kleuren veel liedjes. Op <em>Firefight<\/em> is het harmonieuze nananananana trouwens bepalend. Ook het whoooo van <em>Caf\u00e9 Deux<\/em> hoort bij blijmoedige of in ieder geval positief gestemde folk. Die instelling weerhoudt ze niet om te zingen over serieuze zaken. Want ook dat is folk.
