De eenzaamheid druipt van het beeld. Dat gebogen hoofd; er wordt niet opgenomen aan de andere kant van de lijn, zoveel is wel duidelijk. <strong>I\u2019ll Keep Calling<\/strong> (Cow Island Music) van <a href=\"http:\/\/ilovehonkytonk.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JP Harris and the Tough Choices<\/a> bevat muziek uit de tijd dat de mobiele telefoon nog niet bestond. Het gaat op dit album om lange ritten over highways die voeren van truck stop naar honky tonk. De 29-jarige Harris gaat als een Gear Jammin\u2019 Daddy van oost naar west door<!--more--> Amerika en hij weet waar hij het over heeft, want al op zijn veertiende verliet hij zijn thuis in Montgomery, Alabama. Na een tijd in Vermont, waar hij allerlei laagbetaalde baantjes had, woont hij tegenwoordig in Nashville, Tennessee, en heeft hij zich helemaal op zijn muziek geworpen. En ook al woont hij daar, van moderne country gruwt hij. Altcountry is trouwens ook niet zijn ding. Nee, voor Harris moet het gewoon country zijn, zonder toevoegingen. Hij nam I\u2019ll Keep Calling op in Eunice, Louisiana, met de ritmesectie van Red Stick Ramblers.
