Van de instrumentale opener June, 22nd, Ar die nog geen halve minuut duurt, gaat het naar de ruim 7 minuten lange afsluiter We Make Our Own Traditions, Homesick Blues. Psychedelisch en soms bijna industrieel is deze combinatie van schrapend metaal en een huilende lap steel. Bezwerend ook. En sfeervol als Bonnie \u2018Prince\u2019 Billy of Gun Club. <a href=\"http:\/\/lungsdirtanddreams.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Damon Moon and the Whispering Pines<\/a> komen uit Atlanta, Georgia, en namen<!--more--> Lungs, Dirt &amp; Dreams op in een van boomstammen gebouwd onderkomen op de top van Glassy Mountain. Na enkele ep\u2019s is dit de tweede cd van Damon Moon (zang, elektrische en akoestische gitaren, bas, toetsen, percussie en noise). Zijn Whispering Drifters wisselen nogal van bezetting, maar het is veelzeggend dat Jacob Smith (lap steel) en Chris Cooke (elektrische gitaar) beiden ook verantwoordelijk zijn voor een portie noise.
